Espace 400e


Espace 400e

Architects : Consortium of Dan Hanganu, architects and Côté Leahy Cardas, architects
This festive building, located on the edge of the Bassin Louise, was created for the 400th
anniversary of Quebec City in and around the existing structure of an early 20th century cement factory.

This twice-recycled structure integrates several sustainable features including a
double-skin envelope, geothermal energy, and daylighting. Conferences, exhibitions as well as
concerts are now taking place in this new coveted public amenity.

Canada June 21st - July 4th


I've been to Canada for two weeks this summer. The main purpose was attending PLEA 2009 the Passive and Low Energy Architecture conference held at Laval University in Quebec City.


This is my first visit to Canada and I manage to see Quebec city, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Calgary. Photos to be followed

Atlanta

Now, I am back to Phoenix again after a very nice weekend with brother Moatasam, his family and friends in Atlanta- Georgia.

Atlanta is a beautiful city with gorgeous sceneries, beautiful architecture and variety of restaurants.

I had the opportunity to use Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport which is concederd as world's busiest airport by passenger traffic as well as landings and take-offs
